Who is the oldest living South Dakotan? The South Dakota Health Care Association’s Century Club wants to know.
If you know of a South Dakotan born before May 23, 1911, he or she may be the state’s oldest living person and the health care association would like to honor him or her with the 2018 Centenarian of the Year award.
In addition, any South Dakotan aged 100 or older is eligible to be recognized as part of the association’s Century Club. Each inductee receives a specially designed, framed certificate and membership card. Over 1,500 applicants have been inducted since the club’s founding in 1997. The Centenarian of the Year award is presented each July to the eldest living Century Club member.
