The application deadline is tomorrow (Aug. 1) for anyone interested in serving on the Pierre Players Community Theatre Board of Governors.
The Board oversees operations of the organization including facilities, promotions, finances and selecting shows for the following season. Those wishing to serve on the Board do not need any prior theatrical experience.
Pierre Players President Kristin Gabriel says they’re looking for individuals who will be active in the organization. She says they need someone who would work the box office for shows, attend monthly board meetings and head committees to keep the organization running smoothly.
Board members will serve for a three-year term unless a position has been opened due to a vacancy. A second three-year term may be fulfilled after the first term is complete.
