The republican candidate for governor in South Dakota says one of the reasons she got into politics was because of frustration with what was happening in Washington, DC.
US Congresswoman Kristi Noem says if elected governor, she hopes to make changes to the Affordable Care Act— more commonly known as Obamacare– so healthcare becomes more affordable for South Dakotans.
Pres. Trump, Vice President Pence and other nationally known republicans have been to South Dakota on Noem’s behalf. She says her connections in Washington will benefit the state.
Noem faces democrat Billie Sutton and libertarian Kurt Evans in today’s election.
