South Dakota State Driver Licensing exam stations in five towns are taking appointments from people needing certain commercial driver’s licenses or endorsements.
State Driver Licensing program director Jane Schrank says the stations in Aberdeen, Pierre, Rapid City, Sioux Falls and Watertown are processing new commercial driving licenses and new CDL endorsements.
Schrank says representatives from the state agricultural industry made the request because they depend on CDL drivers to move their products to farms and ranches, markets and suppliers.
