FESSENDEN, N.D. (AP) — The driver of a three-wheel motorcycle has died after being struck by a semi in Wells County. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 77-year-old Robert Hatten, of Harvey, was killed Saturday at a Highway 15 intersection near Fessenden. The patrol says a 67-year-old man driving a Peterbilt tractor and trailer from a grain elevator in Fessenden missed a stop sign and struck Hatten who died at the scene. The semi driver wasn’t injured. He was cited for failing to yield.
