FORT PIERRE – Activities have been suspended for Stanley County schools through October 1. As reported by Dakota Radio Group News Director Jody Heemstra, exposure to COVID-19 has led to a quarantine of some staff members of Stanley County schools, which will have distance learning starting Tuesday through the end of the month. Monday classes were cancelled.
The Buffaloes’ scheduled football game for Friday at Wagner has been postponed, as well as volleyball matches that had been set for Thursday against Potter County in Gettysburg and Thursday, October 1 against Sunshine Bible Academy at Parkview Auditorium. Cross country will not run Wednesday at Mount Vernon/Plankinton, nor on Monday, September 28 at Miller.
Homecoming activities have been moved to the week of October 5-9.
