Mobridge Sports

Last night in High School Volleyball Ipswich was a straight set winner over Potter County, winning the first set 25 to 13, the second set 25 to 15 and the third set and match 25 to 17.  The Lady Tigers from Mobridge Pollock played the Lady Warriors from Standing Rock last night.  The Lady Tigers won the first set 25 to 5, the second 25 to 10 and the final set and match 25 to 14.  Channing Wientjes and Regan Stoick each had nine kills in the match.  Megan Zahn had eight kills and Landyn Henderson ended up with six kills.  Callie Weisbeck had 14 assists and Emma Keller had 13 assists for the Lady Tigers.  Emma Keller, Ava Stoick and Callie Weisbeck each had 3 Aces from the service line for the Lady Tigers as well. Football tonight will see some great match ups.  Ipswich Edmunds Central will host Faulkton Area in Ipswich, Timber Lake will host New Underwood, Lemmon McIntosh will be in Buffalo against Harding County, The North Border Titans will be in Onida against Sully Buttes.  The Herreid Selby Area Wolverines will play this afternoon.  The Wolverines will play Avon in Redfield at 2:30 when  Spencer Gosch will be there with radio and live video on our website drgnews dot com, click stations, then click KMLO and scroll down to the live sports video or tune the radio to 100 point seven FM.  The Mobridge Pollock Tigers will host Webster Area at Tiger Stadium.  If you cannot make it to the game in person then count on Star 99 to bring you all the play by play action on 99 point five FM.  If you would like to watch the game live from your computer or smart TV go to drgnews dot com, click stations, and choose Star 99, then scroll down to live video and the broadcast will start at around 6:30.
