An Eagle Butte man convicted of Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine has been sentenced in federal court.
39 year old Arlyn Keckler was sentenced to 48 months in federal prison, followed by four years of supervised release and a $1,000 fine.
The conviction stemmed from a conspiracy beginning in at least May 2015, wherein Keckler was involved with others to distribute methamphetamine in and around the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in South Dakota. Keckler distributed 200 grams of methamphetamine during the course of the conspiracy.
Keckler was immediately remanded to the custody of the US Marshals Service.
