FORT PIERRE – Andrew Gordon scored a hat trick, Isaac Polak scored twice and the Oahe Capital boys’ power play was four for eight Saturday in a 7-3 rout of Sioux Falls 2 at the Expo Center.
Sioux Falls 2 scored the first two in the first period before Polak and Gordon scored before the first intermission. Gordon then scored twice in just under four and a half minutes in the second period and the Capitals led the rest of the way. Polak, Raef Briggs and Elliot Leif then scored power play tallies in the third period.
The win kept the Capitals two points behind league leader Brookings with one game left in the regular season. That will be Sunday afternoon against Mitchell at the Expo Center at 2:00 CT.

Sioux Center had two goals from Jenna King Saturday in a 4-1 win over the Oahe Capital girls at the Expo Center.
Olivia Swenson scored the only Oahe goal with 5:17 left in the third period.
The Capitals will host Sioux Center Sunday morning at 9:00 AM CT at the Expo Center to finish the regular season.
