I’m one of those people that can’t have silence in their life. I have always turned to music to fill that void. This probably explains why some nights I have a hard time falling asleep.
According to StudyFind, a study was done by Baylor. These scientists found if folks had a song stuck in their head before bed, their brains will continue to get triggered by it even while you are sleeping. They tested this by playing catchy songs for their subjects to listen to. They then tested the quality of sleep that person got and it usually wasn’t the best. The experts say you if this is common for you, you shouldn’t listen to music at night so you can get the quality rest you need. I’m also learning the importance of allowing your brain to rest and I’ve seen a big difference in my life after I have discovered this!
