I do talk about alcohol a lot, but to be honest, I don’t drink much. I don’t have more than one per sitting because I’m a believer you don’t need alcohol to have fun! I’m goofy enough, I don’t need liquid courage to make me fun.
I stumbled across this article done by Eurekalert talking about the amount of alcohol one consumes and the relationship one is looking for. The article says that if a person drinks more is usually interested in casual dating and socializing compared to someone who drinks less. A person that drinks less is actually looking for a more serious committed relationship. This same study found that folks that are single drink more than folks that are in a committed relationship. Those of the single that was interested in dating tended to drink more than those who weren’t.
This theory isn’t true for everyone and the sample size can’t be generalized, but it’s interesting that there was a correlation between the two. Do you agree with this study?
