Paisley’s Father’s Day Surprise

Some call me crazy… but I pulled off something I’ve never been able to do before. This year I actually didn’t get my dad a Father’s Day gift. Instead, I flew home to spend eight hours with my dad. My mom was the only person that knew this was happening because she was the one to pick me up from the airport. I got on a flight on Sunday morning and came back Sunday night. That’s why I’m really tired today. This year has really taught me the importance of family. I’ve always been close with my family, but this year, we have had to really rally together and support each other through so much. To be honest, my dad told me flying home for that short period of time meant more to him than any Father’s Day gift would. I’m so extremely blessed that I was able to make that happen. My wish is that everyone got the opportunity to spend time with their loved ones on Father’s Day. I hope y’all had an amazing time!
