A 32 year old woman from Sidney, MT, has been identified as the person who died last Thursday in a motorcycle crash west of Rapid City.
Preliminary information indicates that a 1996 Honda VT 600 motorcycle was eastbound when the driver lost control. The motorcycle went left, across the westbound lane and struck a guard rail.
Angela Vaira, the 32-year-old driver, was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was wearing a helmet.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is in charge of the investigation. All information is preliminary at this time.
