PIERRE – An error scored the tying and winning runs in the bottom of the 12th Wednesday as the Pierre Trappers defeated the Wheat City Whiskey Jacks 6-5 at Hyde Stadium to break a four-game losing streak.
Ty Stauss, Andy Kim and Richard Williams drove in runs for the Trappers.
Pierre tied the game in the eighth inning at 3-3. Wheat City scored in the top of the 10th before the Trappers tied the game on a wild pitch. Wheat City then scored a run in top of the 12th before Pierre (12-30) rallied to win.
