MITCHELL – Pierre’s Capital City Crushers are the 10-and-under Class A state baseball champions. The Crushers defeated the Aberdeen Twins 9-0 Sunday in the title game at the Cadwell Sports Complex.
Another Pierre team, the Rattlers, won in the 9-and-under division for the second straight season. The Rattlers defeated the Yankton Screwballs Sunday 12-2.
