Lori Dykstra of Sioux Falls the new CEO of the largest hunger-relief organization in South Dakota.
Dykstra will join the Feeding South Dakota team August 9, 2021, to work alongside CEO Matt Gassen until his retirement at the end of August (31). Gassen has been with the organization for 22 years.
Dykstra joins Feeding South Dakota with over 20 years of executive leadership experience in both non-profit and for-profit organizations, leading functional areas including information technology, marketing, operations, and fundraising. Most recently Dykstra served as Chief Operations Officer for Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons where she implemented new technologies, increased program and fundraising revenue, and improved operational efficiencies to better meet evolving demands.
Dykstra earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Dakota, and is certified in Leading Operational Changes, Project Management and Six Sigma Methodology.
