PIERRE – Rylan Derry’s second goal of the game eight minutes from time and 10 saves by goalkeeper Carson Ahartz saved a 3-3 draw for Pierre Governor Boys Soccer Tuesday against Watertown at the PILC Soccer Complex.
Ahartz made several big saves throughout the match, stopping 10 of Watertown’s 20 shots. Kasey Broers had the other goal for Pierre (3-2-1).
Grace Richter scored on a rebound deflection in the 64th minute to give the fifth-ranked Governor girls a 1-0 win over Watertown.
Pierre (5-1) out-shot the Arrows 11-5, but missed several chances until Richter’s winner. Jenna Gehring made five saves in goal.
