All six number-one teams, including four who remain at their places unanimously, are the same as last week in the South Dakota Media High School Basketball Polls, released Monday.
Boys top teams remain Sioux Falls Roosevelt in AA, Dakota Valley in A and De Smet in B. Among girls’ teams, Sioux Falls Washington is still number one in AA, Flandreau stays on top in A and Aberdeen Roncalli is number one in Class B.
Pierre’s boys dropped out of the top five in AA after two losses last week, but still received votes. Winner moved up one spot to number three in A. In Class B, White River is still second, with Lower Brule remaining third and Timber Lake staying fifth. Platte-Geddes, Faulkton Area and Potter County received votes.
White River’s girls dropped one spot to fourth in the Class B poll.
