MINTO, N.D. (AP) — The remains found in a burned vehicle in a Walsh County field last month have been identified as a Minto woman. The North Dakota State Crime lab analyzed DNA to make positive identification of 63-year-old Bonita Dolney. The Walsh County Sheriff’s Office says blizzard conditions were a factor in Dolney’s death. Her remains were found Feb. 18, 2022, north of Minto. While snowmobilers found the burned vehicle, heavy equipment had to be used to clear a path because of the inclement weather. The investigation into the woman’s death continues.
