Minot police make arrest in 2007 murder of 18-year-old woman

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Police in Minot said Wednesday (March 16, 2022) they had made an arrest in the 2007 stabbing death of an 18-year-old woman. Anita Knutson, a student at Minot State University, was found stabbed to death in her apartment on June 4, 2007. The Minot Daily News reported that a 34-year-old woman had been arrested at her workplace without incident and was being held in the Ward County jail on suspicion of murder. Police didn’t immediately respond to messages.
