Flags to fly at half-staff until noon on Monday in honor of Memorial Day

Governor Kristi Noem ordered that flags be flown at half-staff statewide Monday (May 30, 2022) in honor of Memorial Day.

Flags are to be flown half-staff from sunrise until noon only, then raised briskly to the top of the staff until sunset, in honor of the nation’s fallen heroes.

South Dakota has had 3,073 service members killed in action since World War I.
