ABERDEEN – Dakota Munger of Chamberlain shot a two-over 74 Monday to earn a share of the individual lead halfway through the SDHSAA Boys Class A State Golf Championship at Moccasin Creek Country Club.
Munger had two birdies and an eagle in his round to tie with Vermillion’s Cooper Girard and Trey Hansen and Keeton Newborg of Tea Area.
Landon Calhoon of Winner shot 80 to tie for 19th.
In the team standings, Chamberlain is sixth at 345, with Winner in ninth at 356. Vermillion is the leader at 304 by 16 shots over Aberdeen Roncalli.
