Good News Story about a sun pumpkin?

For today’s Good News Story it’s only appropriate to share this. NASA released a high-def photo of the sun that looks like a jack-o-lantern.

NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory discovered the sun developed a face-like pattern in its atmosphere. While unrelated, the “smile” emerged following a partial solar eclipse on Tuesday.

The dark spots that resemble eyes are temporary features called “coronal holes.”
