Four Oahe Capitals were named to SDAHA boys and girls all-state teams.
Ashton Griese was named to the boys first team. Griese tied for fourth in scoring in the regular season with 53 points (21 goals, 32 assists). He added a goal and three assists in last weekend’s state tournament.
One of Griese’s linemates, Jarron Beck, was named to the second team. Beck scored 24 goals and 27 assists for 51 points in the regular season. Beck also scored once in the state tournament.
Goalie Colin Lee was named to the boys second team. Lee was 18-4 in the regular season with two shutouts, a 2.32 goals against average and a .908 save percentage.
Capital girls goalie Abagail Stewart-Fromm was named to the second team. Stewart-Fromm was sixth among girls goalies with a 2.58 goals against average.
