Three Watertown individuals were arrested on drug charges Friday (April 14, 2023) after a search warrant was carried out in the 1700 block of 14th Avenue Southeast.
The Watertown Police Department said it was reportedly an ongoing investigation into using and distributing illegal substances. During the search, WPD reported finding six grams of methamphetamine and other indicators of distribution.
Amanda Decker, 36, of Watertown, Michael Rodengen, 34, of Watertown, and Theodore Decker, 49, of Watertown, was arrested on possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, amongst other charges.

- Amanda Decker, age 36 of Watertown, was charged with 22-42-10 possession of a controlled drug or substance, 22-42-10 Maintaining a place where drugs are kept, sold, or used, and 22-42A-3 possession of drug paraphernalia
- Michael Rodengen, age 34 of Watertown, was charged with 22-42-5 Possession of controlled drug or substance, 22-42A-3 Possession or use of drug paraphernalia
- Theodore Decker, age 49 of Watertown, was charged with 22-42-5 Possession of controlled drug or substance, 22-42A-3 Possession or use of drug paraphernalia
The WPD was assisted in the investigation by the Division of Criminal Investigation, South Dakota Highway Patrol, and the Codington County Sheriff’s Office.
