On October 13, Lynryd Skynyrd will celebrate 50 years of Southern rock with the release of a career-spanning box-set, titled Fyfty.
The 4-CD and digital collection will touch on various phases of the band’s storied history, including their early Muscle Shoals recordings as well as two previously unreleased live tracks. One of which is a 1976 recording of “Free Bird” from Atlanta’s Fox Theatre.
And just like the spelling of the band’s name, Fyfty is spelled with a Y instead of an I.
