BRANDON – Pierre Governor defender Steven Blanchette and striker Jacoby LaRoche were named to the 2023 All-ESD Boys Soccer Team, released Monday.
Blanchette, a junior, scored a goal and an assist for the Governors. LaRoche, a freshman, was Pierre’s leading scorer with seven goals.
Pierre was 3-8-3 in 2023 and lost in the first round of the AA playoffs to eventual state champion Sioux Falls Lincoln.
