A TikTok’er who posts relationship advice has been racking up the hits with her “Nickname Theory.” It’s a way to figure out if you’re really into a guy that you’ve only had a few dates with.
The whole thing is based on how women talk to each other about the guys they’re dating. Names can be confusing, so they’ll often use nicknames to describe the guy.
For example. A silly, light-hearted description, like, “the plain bagel and cream cheese guy” means you’re not that serious about him, and it’s NOT going to last.
If you narrow down the description to something relevant to HIM, like, “the gray BMW guy.” That’s personal, and he’s a possibility. It could go either way.
The final category isn’t actually a nickname. If you use his REAL name, “I had so much fun with Tom Smith last night.” You’re in for the long haul and would say yes to a diamond.
Here’s the video.
