Speaking of records, the legendary Carol Burnett became the oldest woman to get an acting nomination, for “Palm Royale”. She’s 91.
Ryan Gosling got his first Emmy nod for hosting the episode of “Saturday Night Live” that featured the now-infamous “Beavis and Butthead” sketch.
Kelsey Grammer did NOT get nominated for the “Frasier” revival, even though the original was an Emmy darling . . . and “Real Time with Bill Maher” got passed over this year.
