The South Dakota delegates to the Democratic National Convention have voted unanimously to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for the 2024 Democratic Presidential Nomination.
State Delegate Chair Jessica Meyers says their voting delegates met virtually on Monday (July 22, 2024) to discuss their next steps in nominating a candidate for President. She says Harris has proven she’s more than equipped to take on the Presidency and South Dakota’s 20 votes will be cast for her.
The DNC Convention will be held next month (Aug. 19-22, 2024) in Chicago.
