People get frustrated with airport security . . . but let’s face it, they’ve got PLENTY of nonsense to be frustrated with too.
Last week, a 43-year-old man flew from the Netherlands to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, where security found a bunch of drugs in his bags. He had more than 12 pounds of ketamine in both liquid and powdered form, nearly two pounds of codeine, and three ounces of GHB.
He was arrested. He later posted bail, and headed back to the same airport . . . with plans to travel to London . . . and guess what he brought with him?
Airport security stopped him from boarding the flight when they found drugs in his checked bag: More than one-half pound of ketamine.
The man is facing new charges under Washington state law for possession with the intent to distribute ketamine.
