Kenny Chesney’s Here And Now 2022 tour kickoffs in Tampa is less than a month on the 23rd of April.
As fans are getting excited to see Kenny hit the stage – along with openers Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, and Carly Pearce – Chesney is also anticipating the thrill of performing after being sidelined for 2 years by the conditions surrounding COVID and quarantine.
Kenny says at this point in his life, performing live is much more of a “need” than a “want” – and he describes those moments right as he’s hitting the stage for a show, “I get with the band and you start to smell the smells and hear the guitars at soundcheck and you start to anticipate the evening and the crowd and how excited they are and you know if they bought their tickets probably 6 months ago and they’ve been anticipating the moment you walked on stage for a long time and that is a very very powerful thing to be in the middle of and feel.”
Along with his stadium shows this summer Kenny Chesney will also be playing dates at amphitheaters with opener Carly Pearce.
