Today’s Good News Story of the Day is from California where animal rescuers responded to a home in California to help a horse who got into his owner’s swimming pool but couldn’t climb out again. The horse’s name, appropriately enough, is Shocker. The owners contacted the San Diego Humane Society, which sent a team of animal rescuers to the rescue. They set up a rescue tripod and put a protective helmet on him. Shocker was back on solid ground after about three hours of hard work.
