In an unbelievable season The Stanley County Boys Basketball team has brought home the 2025-2026 Big Dakota Conference Championship, closing out conference play with a perfect 7-0 record.
Whether fighting through tough fourth quarters or setting the tone early with energetic starts, the Buffaloes consistently stepped up to the challenge against some of the toughest competition in the conference.
The Big Dakota Conference is home to some talented competition, including Chamberlain, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, Todd County, McLaughlin, Mobridge-Pollock, Winner, and Crow Creek. Completing this schedule with a perfect record is not easy. Each of the Buffaloes’ opponents brought something different to the table, but Stanley County was able to adjust and come out on top every time.
As the Buffaloes celebrate this special season, one thing is certain: the 2025-2026 team has made its mark in Stanley County history.
