HARRISBURG – Pierre Volleyball struggled again Monday and lost to Harrisburg in three sets, 25-11, 25-15, 25-23. Harrisburg (4-6) was paced by Abby Meister, who had 11 kills and five aces. Ayvrie Kaiser led Pierre (3-3) with seven kills.
Governor Head Coach Kacy Kienholz said that Pierre just didn’t start this match well enough.
Kienholz was happy with a better third set.
Kienholz singled out the play of Harrisburg’s Abby Meister.
Kienholz said that Harrisburg saw what the Governors weren’t doing well.
With another match ahead Tuesday, the Governors can’t dwell on this loss, said Kienholz.
