Equipment issues have caused a delay in the street resurfacing operations on Harrison Avenue in Pierre.
Contractor Morris, Inc., says Harrison Avenue from North Taylor Avenue to Church Street is now scheduled to close at 8:15 this (Thurs.) morning. Weather permitting, the impacted stretch of Harrison Avenue is expected to reopen on Saturday (June 23). Throughout the work, the Harrison Avenue and Church Street intersection, as well as the intersection of Harrison and North Taylor Avenues, will remain open.
