Three new bronze statues for the Trail of Governors in Pierre will be unveiled tomorrow (Fri.).
Trail of Governors Foundation board member Tony Venhuizen (ven-high-zen) says this year’s statues are of Governors William McMaster, M.Q. Sharpe and Ralph Herseth.
The unveiling ceremony is tomorrow morning at 10am at the Capitol Rotunda.
Venhuizen says the location for one of the statues has been decided.
He says the Trail of Governors is not a state funded or government funded project.
Again, the unveiling of three new bronze statues for the Trail of Governors is tomorrow at 10am CDT at the Capitol Rotunda in Pierre.
