FREMONT, NE – The Pierre Trappers took an early lead Sunday and used effective pitching to help keep it in a 5-4 win over the Fremont Moo at Moller Field in the Trappers’ final road game of the 2021 season.
Parker Lewis (1-3) earned his first win with seven very good innings, allowing two runs and four hits.
Garret Hill drove in two runs and Kaiden Cardoso homered for the Trappers, who will play their final six games of the season at Hyde Stadium. Opponents will be the Spearfish Sasquatch Monday through Thursday and the Hastings Sodbusters Friday and Saturday, with all games starting at 7:05.
