A 20-year-old Pierre man faces charges after an incident early Saturday morning.
According to the Pierre Police Department, officers were called to the 900 block of North Euclid Avenue around 1:30am for an assault. Through investigation officers learned Angel Summers had assaulted another person by striking and strangling. The victim did not require medical attention.
Summers was arrested for Aggravated Assault and Underage Consumption of Alcohol. He was taken to the Hughes County Jail.
