The Prairie Family Business Association is accepting nominations for the Pierre Excellence in Family Business Award. Nomination deadline is Nov. 1.
The award honors a family in the Pierre area who is running a successful business involving multiple generations of the family as well as a commitment to the community.
Nominations may come from any community member or as a self-nomination. For the purposes of this award, a business is considered a family business if at least two generations are currently working in the business OR if the business has already transitioned from one generation to another within the family.
