The deadline to buy tickets for South Dakota’s 2019 Inaugural celebration in Pierre is Jan. 4 and tickets purchased after tomorrow (Dec. 27), are available only through will call.
Ticket sales for the Capitol and Inaugural Balls will can be purchased through 4pm on Jan. 4 online at pierretickets.com, by calling 1.800.962.2034 during normal business hours or in-person at the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce, 800 W. Dakota Ave., Pierre. Tickets cost $25.
Will call tickets will be located on the first floor of the Capitol Building from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Oath of Office ceremonies for legislators begin at 11 a.m. in the House of Representatives Chamber in the State Capitol. The Oath of Office ceremony for the Governor-elect and other elected state officials begins at noon in the Capitol Rotunda. All Oath of Office ceremonies are free and open to the public.
Individuals attending inaugural events who require auxiliary aids or services for a disability are asked to call 1.800.265.9684 at least 10 days in advance.
The Capitol Ball, featuring the Over Forte band, begins at 6:30 p.m. at the State Capitol. The Grand March begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are required and cost $25 per person.
The Inaugural Ball, featuring the 147th Army Band, South Dakota National Guard, begins at 8 p.m. at the Ramkota River Centre. The Inaugural Ball Grand March begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are required and cost $25 per person.
