PIERRE – With emphasis, the losing streak ended Thursday for Pierre Governor Boys Basketball.
Pierre recorded its highest point total of the season in routing Douglas 80-41 at the Riggs High Gym to end a four-game skid.
Lincoln Kienholz led Pierre (5-4) with 19 points. Matthew Hanson hit four three-pointers and scored 14. Jackson Edman scored 14, with 10 coming in the second half. Christian Busch added 10.
The Governors hit 10 three-pointers, with Brecken Krueger adding two among his eight points off the bench.
Connor Sauvage scored 29 points for Douglas.
