Roosevelt Fends Off Governor Boys

SIOUX FALLS – Defending AA boys state champion Sioux Falls Roosevelt held off the Pierre Governors Saturday at Roosevelt High School 63-55 in the final game of the regular season.

Roosevelt (19-0) had 17 points from Marcus Phillips and Micah Johnson added 15. Lincoln Kienholz led Pierre (9-11) with 21 points. Jackson Edman scored 12.

Pierre will play on the road Saturday in the AA SoDak 16. It can be heard on The Official Voice of the Pierre Governors, River 92.7, and at the River 92.7 page at the DRG News app & drgnews.com, with live and archived video online.
