The Northern Oahe Sportsman’s Club is opening registration for its September Trap Shooting League, a month‑long competition welcoming shooters of all ages and experience levels.
Participants can establish their handicap during August by shooting 25‑target rounds on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Handicap rounds cost $10, and shooters must bring their own shells, or purchase shells at the club.
League competition begins Wednesday, September 2, and continues weekly through September 30. Four‑person teams shoot each night at 6:00 p.m., with handicaps used to keep matchups balanced. The league champion will be named at the end of the month.
Team registration is $200 per four‑person team, $50 per shooter for the full league. Individuals without a team are encouraged to sign up and will be placed on a squad.
Registration closes Thursday, August 27. Organizers Rowdy Torevell (605‑848‑0583) and Dan Merkel (605‑850‑3606) are available for sign‑ups and questions.
