A 19-year-old man from Illinois received life threatening injuries in a one vehicle rollover about noon on Saturday on I-90 four miles east of Presho.
According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, the vehicle was west bound when it went into the median and rolled several times. The vehicle came to rest in the east bound lanes of I-90. The driver had to be extricated. He was taken to the Chamberlain hospital by ambulance, then airlifted to Sioux Falls.
An 18-year-old male passenger, also from Illinois, received minor injuries. Both men were wearing a seatbelt.
The east bound lanes of I-90 were closed for about an hour.
