SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Bon Homme-Scotland withstood a West Central comeback to beat the Trojans 7-5 in the championship game of the South Dakota State Class B High School Baseball Tournament on Tuesday at Sioux Falls Stadium. Joey Slama went 2 for 4 with a pair of RBI’s and Bryce Scieszinski also went 2-4 with two RBI for BH-S. Bryce Scieszinski picked up the win, allowing four runs (three earned) over 5 2/3 innings. Trent Herrboldt, the third reliever for BH-S, got the final three outs for the save. The title was the first since 2011 for Bon Homme-Scotland. It also came after consecutive years of the Bon Homme program losing in state Class B VFW Teener title games.
