SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Led by Isabel Myron, the Pierre Riggs High School Shooting team won the Class 1A Conference 5 league title in the South Dakota State High School Clay Target League’s (SDSHSCTL) 2018 spring season. Pierre scored 20015.5 to defeat runner up Yankton which scored 14140. Myren led the girls Individual Season Average overall score with a season average of 24.20 tally. Luke Hennebold of Winner-Colome had the highest Male Average and the season average with a 24.30. Wyatt Rose of Pierre had the top season average score for a male shooter averaging 24.40 to lead Conference 1A Region 5 while Myren top the girls season average score. Stanley County also had a good spring season as they finished 2nd to Winner-Colome in Class 1A Conference 2 with a 3227 score. Winner Colome had a 3529 total score. Upon completion of the Spring League, all student athletes have been invited to participate in individual and team competitions at the 2018 State Tournament.
