BROOKINGS, S.D. – The South Dakota State University football team will open the 2018 season under the lights Sept. 1 at Iowa State. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa, with the game to be televised through Cyclones.tv. The season-opening matchup will mark the fourth meeting all-time between the Jackrabbits and Cyclones. The two squads last met in the 2008 season opener, with Iowa State winning a 44-17 decision on its home field to improve to 3-0 in the series. In addition, kickoff times for the Jackrabbits’ six home games also have been finalized. Each of the first three home games (Sept. 8, Sept. 15, Oct. 6) are slated for 6 p.m. kickoffs, while the final three contests at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium (Oct. 13, Nov. 3, Nov. 17) are set for 2 p.m. starts.
