Talcott Wins State Men's Mid Amateur Golf

YANKTON, S.D. – Jesse Talcott of the Bakker Crossing Golf Course in Sioux Falls fired a second round 2 under par 70 and to finish with a 142 and two stroke victory for the South Dakota Men’s Mid Amateur Championship held over the weekend at the Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton. Talcott finished two stroke up on Chris Long of the River Ridge Golf Course. Brandon Sigmund of Mitchell and Adam Chandler of Sioux Falls tied for third with a 151. Matthew Johnson of the Sutton Bay Golf Course north of Pierre had a two round total of 155 and finished 10th.
