MILLER, S.D. – Cody Cotton struck out 14 and the Miller Outlawas downed Four Corners 5-2 in Pony Hills League Amatuer Baseball Thursday night in Miller. Cotton was in control on the mound as he allowed just 5 hits and gave up only one earned run in a complete 9 inning performance. Casey Schlechter led the way offensivly for the Outlaws with a pair of hits and 2 RBI’s. For Four Corners, which suffered it’s first loss of the season after opening the season with 2 wins, J.D. Farley and Justin Letcher each had a hit and a RBI. Adam Kaus took the loss ont he mound as he allowed seven hits and 5 earned runs while striking out 9. Miller returns to action on Sunday hosting Plankinton while Four Corners will entertain Kimball White Lake.
